Report- GMFs and GMOs (an example).Para alumnado de bilingüismo. Podéis elegir otros temas.

The aim of this report is to know and make public the advantages and disadvantages of genetically modified foods and regulation of the release of GMOs.
It seems that a majority of consumers are interested in our rights to know what we eat. So, first of all, we must remember that GMFs have had   specific changes introduced into their DNA by genetic engineering techniques.
According to scientists' declarations, in general GMFs do not pose a greater risk to human health than conventional food.
On the other hand, critics have objected to GMFs on several grounds including ecological and economic concerns, raised by the fact that GM plants are food sources and are subject to intellectual property law.
It would be advisable for organisms and for our Planet in general to save biodiversity and this GMOs and GMFs could lower it dangerously.
To summarise, governments should consider thinking about food sources as something that cannot be an intellectual property.
The problem started in 1994, when the first GM tomatoes were on sale. Every year, seeds are bought by farmers from Calgene Company.
So, now they depend on the company and it is clear that it could be a big problem in the future.
Finally, considering all the opinions, I think this problem is important enough to begin to work about it right now.
